Teleporter functionality

Overview

Pi-hole's Teleporter feature enables you to export and import your entire Pi-hole configuration as a single archive file. This tool is invaluable for:

• Creating backups of your current setup
• Transferring settings to a new Pi-hole instance
• Quickly restoring your configuration after a reinstall

The Teleporter preserves all your customizations, including:

Step-by-Step Instructions

Creating a Backup

1. Open your Pi-hole admin web interface
2. Navigate to "Settings"
3. Click the "Teleporter" tab
4. Click the "Backup" button
5. Save the generated archive file to a secure location

Restoring from Backup

1. Open your Pi-hole admin web interface
2. Navigate to "Settings"
3. Click the "Teleporter" tab
4. Click "Choose File" and select your backup archive
