Maintenance and Monitoring
There are two ways to view query logs on Pi-hole, "Query Log" and "Long-term Data → Query Log".

"Query Log" vs "Long-term Data → Query Log"
In Pi-hole, the difference between Query Log and Long-term Data → Query Log is:
- Query Log:
- Displays recent DNS queries in real-time
- Limited to the most recent activity stored in memory
- Useful for immediate troubleshooting or monitoring current traffic
- Long-term Data → Query Log:
- Shows historical DNS query data stored in the database
- Allows searching and filtering over a specified time range
- Useful for analyzing past activity, identifying patterns, or troubleshooting long-term issues
