This compact rechargeable power module is designed for micro:bit-based Maqueen educational robots. It holds a single CR123A 3.6V lithium rechargeable battery and provides a tidy power solution for classroom robotics, STEM workshops and small mobile robot projects.
A built-in lithium battery charging circuit and MicroUSB interface let you charge the cell directly from common USB power sources such as laptops, USB adaptors or power banks, without needing a separate charger.
The module also includes protection features for safer use in educational and experimental environments, including reverse connection protection and over-current protection. The pack includes the CR123A Li-ion Battery Holder (V1.0), four screws, four copper columns, one connecting wire and one piece of double-sided adhesive tape.
