Add motion, direction and orientation sensing to your project with this all-in-one 9-DOF sensor from Adafruit. The LSM9DS0 from ST Micro combines a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer and 3-axis gyroscope into a single chip, giving you everything you need for full orientation tracking.
The breakout board includes a 3V regulator and level-shifting circuitry, so it works with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. Both I2C and SPI interfaces are supported. Simply wire up power and I2C lines and you're ready to start reading 9 degrees of motion data.
