##Introduction The FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 is a high-performance microcontroller (MCU) development board designed based on the ESP32-P4R32 chip. It supports single-precision FPU and AI instruction extensions, and has powerful AI processing capabilities. At the same time, the development board also has powerful image processing capabilities, supporting up to 1080p@30fps image acquisition and display. The development board integrates the ESP32-C6 module, which expands the WiFi and Bluetooth functions and is suitable for various applications such as AI network cameras, AI robots, smart home central control screens, and digital photo albums. Excellent Performance, Powerful Edge AI Processing CapabilitiesThe FireBeetle2 ESP32-P4 development board is equipped with a 32-bit RISC-V dual-core 400MHz high-performance processor. Combined with 768KB of L2MEM and 32MB of PSRAM, it provides strong power for complex computing tasks. The ESP32-P4 supports single-precision FPU and AI instruction extensions and can run lightweight machine learning models (such as TensorFlow Lite) to achieve AI functions such as edge voice recognition and image classification. It is suitable for applications such as voice interaction, AI face recognition, AI cat's eyes, and AI surveillance cameras.High-speed Peripherals, Smooth Human-Machine InteractionThe FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 microcontroller integrates a JPEG encoder/decoder, a Pixel Processing Accelerator (PPA), an Image Signal Processor (ISP), and an H264 video encoder. It can efficiently handle tasks such as images and video streams, support MIPI-CSI and MIPI-DSI signal inputs, and support up to 720p@88fps or 1080p@30fps image acquisition and display at the highest level. It brings a smooth visual experience of human-machine interaction to applications and is suitable for applications such as digital photo albums, home central control screens, and multimedia advertising displays. Richly Integrated Peripherals, Simple and Easy to UseThe FireBeetle 2 ESP32-P4 development board integrates rich and easy-to-use peripheral interfaces in a size of only 25.4x60mm, reducing the difficulty of connecting external devices. The development board integrates the ESP32-C6 module, which expands the WiFi and Bluetooth functions, enabling the ESP32-P4 to connect to the Internet and expand more usage scenarios. The onboard Type-C USB OTG 2.0 high-speed interface can achieve high-speed communication between the development board and USB devices; the onboard MIC can collect sounds to achieve voice recognition; the onboard TF card slot provides a large-capacity data storage solution for projects. ##Features Dual-core RISC-V 400MHz + Single-core RISC-V 40MHz processor, providing strong computing powerSupports single-precision FPU and AI extensions, with powerful edge AI capabilities768KB L2MEM + 32MB PSRAM + 16MB FLASH, providing high-performance and large-capacity storage for data, instructions, and codeOnboard MIPI-DSI interface, supporting up to 720p@88fps or 1080p@30fps image displayOnboard MIPI-CSI interface, supporting up to 720p@88fps or 1080p@30fps image acquisitionIntegrates the ESP32-C6 module, supporting WiFi6 and Bluetooth 5 communicationIntegrates rich and easy-to-use expansion interfaces: USB OTG 2.0 high-speed, MIC, TF card slot ##Applications AI network camerasAI cat's eyesTracking pan-tilt camerasSmart home central control screensDigital photo albumsMultimedia advertising machines ##Specification Basic ParametersOperating voltage: 3.3VType-C input voltage: 5V DCVIN input voltage: 5V DCOperating temperature: -10~60℃Module size: 25.4x60mmHardware InformationCPU and StorageHP Core:RISC-V 32-bit Dual-core Microprocessor 400 MHzLP Core:RISC-V 32-bit Single-core Microprocessor 40 MHz32MB PSRAMFlash:16MB768 KB HP L2MEM32 KB LP SRAM128KB HP ROM16KB LP ROMWIFIWIFI Protocol: IEEE 802.11b/g/n/axIEEE 802.11ax (20 MHz-only non-AP mode)WIFI Bandwidth: The 2.4 GHz band supports 20 MHz and 40 MHz bandwidthsWIFI Modes: Station mode, SoftAP mode, SoftAP+Station mode, and promiscuous modeWIFI Frequency: 2.4GHzFrame Aggregation: TX/RX A-MPDU, TX/RX A-MSDUBluetoothBluetooth Protocol: Bluetooth 5Bluetooth Frequencies: 125 Kbps, 500 Kbps, 1 Mbps, 2 MbpsInterface PinsDigital I/O x242-channel MIPI CSI x12-channel MIPI DSI x1UART x5LP UART x1I2C x2LP I2C x1I3C x1SPI x1I2S x3LP I2S x1SPI x2LP SPI x1High-speed USB OTG 2.0 x1SDIO2.0 x1TOUCH 4 channelsLED PWM Controller with 8 channelsInfrared Transceiver: Transmit channels x5, Receive channels x51 × 12-bit SAR ADC, 7 channelsNote: The functional pins are multiplexed, and the above number of interfaces is the maximum value.Board OverviewType-C USB CDC: Type-C USB programming and debugging interfaceIO3/LED: Onboard LED pinPower LED: Motherboard power indicator lightRST: Reset buttonIO35/BOOT: IO pin/BOOT buttonMIC: PDM microphoneHIGH-SPEED USB OTG 2.0: Type-C high-speed USB OTG 2.0ESP32-P4: ESP32-P4 chipMIPI-DSI: Two-channel MIPI-DSI screen (compatible with the pin sequence of Raspberry Pi 4B screen)MIPI-CSI: Two-channel MIPI-DSI screen (compatible with the pin sequence of Raspberry Pi 4B camera)TF Card: TF card slot16MB FLASH: 16MB Flash storageESP32-C6: ESP32-C6-MINI-1 module, connected to P4 via SDIO, used for expanding WiFi and Bluetooth ##Documents Product wikiTutorial - First Time UseBasic Tutorial ##ShippingList FireBeetle 2 Board ESP32-P4 Microcontroller x120pin-2.54mm Pin Header x2
