SparkFun Serial Enabled 16x2 LCD - Black on Green 3.3V
A serial-enabled 16×2 LCD (black text on green backlight) that communicates over a single-wire TTL serial interface at 3.3V. The integrated serial backpack, based on the PIC16LF88, accepts serial commands to display text, clear the screen, adjust backlight brightness, and toggle the display on/off.
Power, ground, and RX are broken out to a 3.5 mm pitch screw terminal. A potentiometer on the backpack adjusts contrast, and the backlight supports PWM dimming for brightness and power control.
