SparkFun microSD Sniffer
285 units available with a short lead time.
The SparkFun microSD Sniffer lets you tap into the SPI traffic between a microSD card and its host device for debugging or reverse engineering. Insert one end into a standard microSD socket and plug a microSD card into the onboard socket — all SPI signals are then broken out to an 8-pin 0.1″ pitch header for connection to a logic analyser or microcontroller.
Key Features
- SPI Bus Sniffer – Passthrough design lets you monitor all microSD SPI traffic
- 8-Pin Breakout Header – 0.1″ (2.54 mm) pitch for easy connection to logic analysers
- Inline Design – Sits between the host socket and microSD card transparently
- Standard microSD Form Factor – Compatible with any standard microSD slot
Ideal For
- Debugging SPI communication with SD cards
- Reverse engineering SD card protocols
- Logic analyser capture of microSD traffic
- Embedded systems development and testing
