Repair a Maqueen Plus V3 robot quickly with this official DFRobot replacement motor kit. It is made for restoring a damaged or jammed motor caused by dust, hair, particles or rough classroom handling.
The kit is designed for plug-and-play installation on the Maqueen Plus V3, with a PH2.0 connector so no soldering is required. It is compatible with Maqueen Plus V3 models MBT0050-AA and MBT0050-18650.
Each kit contains one N20 metal motor with a pre-installed Hall magnetic ring and PCB, one motor mounting bracket, two mounting screws and one motor connecting wire. The Maqueen Plus V3 robot already includes two motors when purchased new, so this kit is only needed as a replacement; purchase two kits if both motors are damaged.
Features:
- All-in-One Solution: Includes one motor, a mounting bracket, screws, and a connecting wire—everything needed for a single motor replacement.
- Quick & Easy Repair: The motor connects via a PH2.0 connector for plug-and-play installation. No soldering is required. Simply swap the old motor out and plug the new one in.
- Official Accessory: Guarantees perfect compatibility and performance, matching the original motor specifications of the Maqueen Plus V3.
- Integrated Encoder: The motor comes with a pre-installed Hall magnetic ring and PCB, enabling precise closed-loop control over speed and position.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- closed-loop control
- Closed-loop control means the system uses feedback, such as motor position or speed, to adjust its output automatically. This matters because it can keep a motor moving accurately even when the load changes, unlike simple open-loop control.
- DC
- DC means direct current, where electricity flows in one constant direction, as supplied by batteries, USB ports and many plug-pack power supplies. When a product specifies DC, it runs from a DC supply rather than mains AC, so you need to provide the correct voltage and polarity.
- encoder
- An encoder is a sensor that converts the rotation or position of a shaft, knob or dial into electrical signals, reporting movement as incremental steps and direction, or as an absolute position. It is used to track how far something has turned, which matters for precise positioning, speed control, repeatable movement, or using a rotary knob as an input.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board (PCB) is a board, usually rigid, with etched copper tracks that connect electronic components together without loose wiring. Components are mounted on the board and signals route between them through the copper layout.
