The Enviro+ FeatherWing packs a comprehensive suite of environmental sensors into a compact FeatherWing format board. Monitor temperature, pressure, humidity, ambient light, gas concentrations, noise levels, and particulate matter — ideal for citizen science air quality monitoring and environmental data logging.

Designed for Adafruit Feather boards running CircuitPython (Feather M4 Express or Feather nRF52840 Express recommended). Requires soldering of the included headers.

Onboard Sensors

  • BME280 – Temperature, pressure, and humidity (datasheet)
  • LTR-559 – Light and proximity sensor (datasheet)
  • MICS6814 – Analog gas sensor for qualitative measurement of CO, NO₂, and NH₃ groups (datasheet)
  • ADS1015 – 12-bit ADC for the analog sensors (datasheet)
  • MEMS Microphone – Analog, for ambient noise level measurement
  • 0.96" Colour LCD – 160 × 80 pixel display

Additional Features

  • PMS5003 Connector – Attach a particulate matter sensor (sold separately) for PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 readings
  • FeatherWing Format – Compatible with Adafruit Feather ecosystem
  • Dimensions – 51 × 23 × 6.5 mm (without headers)

Package Contents

  • 1× Enviro+ FeatherWing
  • 2× 1×16 male headers
Note: The MICS6814 gas sensor provides qualitative readings (relative changes in gas levels), not calibrated absolute concentrations. The BME280 temperature, pressure, and humidity data helps contextualise the gas and particulate readings.
