Express post shipping available (product has a short lead time)

A 10KΩ linear slide potentiometer with a built-in geared DC motor underneath the slider. The motor can move the wiper up and down programmatically, while the slider also moves freely by hand when the motor is unpowered. This combination allows both manual and digital control — commonly seen in professional audio mixing consoles and A/V control panels.

The potentiometer and motor are electrically separate. The pot provides a standard 3-pin resistive divider output. The motor is a 2-pin 5–10V DC motor that requires an H-bridge driver for bidirectional control. A conductive touch pad on the slider enables capacitive touch detection when connected to a touch sensor.

Key Features

  • 10KΩ Linear Potentiometer – Standard 3-pin resistive divider
  • Built-In DC Motor – Geared motor moves the slider programmatically
  • 5–10V Motor – Requires H-bridge driver for bidirectional control
  • Free-Moving When Unpowered – Manual control with no motor resistance
  • Conductive Touch Pad – Capacitive touch detection on the slider
  • Electrically Separate – Independent pot and motor circuits

How It Works

To move the slider to a target position, read the potentiometer's analogue voltage while powering the motor in one direction until the reading reaches the desired value, then release the motor. An Arduino or similar microcontroller with an H-bridge motor driver handles this easily.

Ideal For

  • Motorised fader controls for audio and A/V projects
  • Interactive installations with digital and manual input
  • Linear feedback sensors for light robotics
Note: H-bridge motor driver is not included. Includes 1× motorised slide potentiometer only.
