The GeoFence is a GPS-enabled board that lets you define virtual geographic boundaries and trigger actions when the device enters or leaves those zones. Configure up to four geofence zones using the companion desktop app — simply click and drag on a map to set rectangular or circular boundaries.

Built around an ATmega328P microcontroller (Arduino-compatible) and a Titan X1 GPS module, the board features four zone indicator LEDs and corresponding status pins that go high when the device enters a defined zone. A system status pin confirms valid GPS data, making it easy to integrate into larger projects.

Key Features

  • Four Configurable Geofence Zones – Rectangular or circular, set via the desktop app
  • Titan X1 GPS Module – 15-second cold start, 5-second warm start (RTC backup battery retains data up to 15 days)
  • ATmega328P @ 8 MHz – Arduino bootloader pre-installed for custom firmware
  • Zone Indicator LEDs and Pins – Visual and logic-level output for each zone
  • Built-In LiPo Charger – Charges a single-cell lithium battery via USB
  • Six ADC-Capable GPIO Pins – Broken out from the ATmega328P (A0 is system status by default)
  • U.FL Connector – Attach an external GPS antenna for use inside enclosures
  • Flexible Power Options – JST connector for LiPo battery or 3.3V regulated input

Ideal For

  • Fleet and asset tracking with zone alerts
  • GPS-based puzzle boxes and scavenger hunts
  • Location-triggered automation projects
  • Learning GPS and geofencing concepts
Note: This is a SparkX experimental product. It is tested but comes without guarantees or live technical support.
