This 8×AA battery holder provides a portable power source with a built-in on/off switch and a standard 5.5 mm / 2.1 mm DC barrel plug for easy connection to Arduino boards, LED strips, motors, and other 12V devices. Use alkaline AAs for approximately 12V at 3000–4000 mAh, or rechargeable NiMH cells for 9.6V at around 2000 mAh.
The barrel plug fits standard DC jacks found on Arduino boards and many electronics, while the on/off switch lets you control power without unplugging.
