A 40-pin ribbon of male-to-male (M/M) jumper wires, 15cm long, in ten rainbow colours. The wires fit standard 0.1″ (2.54mm) pitch headers and can be kept as a ribbon for neat harnesses or separated into individual jumpers.

Key Features

  • Male-to-Male (M/M) – 0.1″ male header pins on both ends
  • 40-Pin Ribbon – Separable into individual wires as needed
  • 15cm Length – Suitable for breadboard-to-breadboard connections
  • Rainbow Colour-Coded – 10 colours for easy identification
  • 2.54mm Pitch Compatible – Fits standard breadboard and header pins

Ideal For

  • Breadboard-to-breadboard jumper connections
  • Prototyping and wire harnesses
  • Arduino and microcontroller projects

Package Contents

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

Headers
Rows of connector contacts on a fixed pitch (commonly 2.54 mm) used to link a board to a breadboard, jumper wires, or another board. They come as male pin headers and female socket headers; when a module ships with pre-soldered headers it can be used straight away, whereas bare pads require soldering the pins yourself.
male-to-male
A male-to-male cable has plug-style connectors on both ends rather than a socket on one end. This matters when choosing a cable because it must match the female sockets on the modules or boards you want to connect.
microcontroller
A microcontroller is a small computer on a single chip that runs a stored program and controls connected inputs and outputs such as buttons, sensors, displays and communication interfaces. In a device built around one, it is the part that executes the code and coordinates the device's behaviour.
