This Waveshare 13.3″ AMOLED display delivers a 2560×1440 (2K QHD) resolution with 100% sRGB and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The AMOLED panel produces true blacks and vivid colours with a 178° viewing angle, making it a significant step up from conventional LCD monitors for both embedded projects and desktop use.
The display features 10-point capacitive touch through optically bonded toughened glass (6H hardness), and connects via HDMI or USB Type-C for both video and touch. It works driver-free with Raspberry Pi OS, Windows, Ubuntu, and Jetson Nano, and supports wired screen projection from compatible smartphones (Huawei, Samsung, OPPO, and others with full-featured Type-C).

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- HDMI
- HDMI is a common digital video and audio connection used by computers, media players, and many displays. If a display kit has HDMI input, it is usually much easier to test with a single-board computer because it can act like a normal monitor.
- IoT
- Short for Internet of Things, meaning physical devices that connect to networks or the internet to send data or be controlled remotely. It matters if you want projects such as connected sensors, remote controls or classroom data-logging activities.
- LCD
- LCD stands for liquid crystal display, a screen technology that uses a backlight and liquid crystals to show images or text. It matters because LCD modules usually need a display driver and enough controller pins or a bus interface to send image data.
- Type-C
- USB Type-C (USB-C) is a small, reversible USB connector used for charging, power, and data transfer on many modern devices. A Type-C port or plug indicates the cable and charger connection needed to power, charge, or communicate with a device.
- USB Type-C
- USB Type-C is a small, reversible USB connector used for power, data and sometimes video on many modern devices. The connector itself does not guarantee a particular speed or voltage, so check the supported USB version, data rate and whether it carries more than 5V via USB Power Delivery.
- USB-C
- USB-C is a small, reversible USB connector that can carry power, data and, on some devices, video over a single cable. The same connector can range from charging only to high-speed data, so the functions a given port actually supports vary.
