This magnetic switch consists of two parts: a reed switch sensor with cable and a magnet trigger in a plastic housing. When the magnet is brought within approximately 1 cm of the sensor, the reed switch closes, allowing you to detect position changes, door/window states, and proximity events.
The switch is characterised by low power consumption, a wide voltage range, long lifespan, and reliable operation — making it well suited for security, home automation, and position-sensing applications.
