An infrared proximity sensor that detects objects at distances of 10 ±5 mm to 80 ±20 mm by measuring reflected IR energy. It outputs a simple high/low digital signal, making it easy to integrate with Arduino and other microcontrollers.
The sensor features strong ambient light rejection, fast response, and a compact form factor. It includes a housing with mounting holes, allowing for secure installation in applications where waterproofing may be required (e.g. smart taps and hand washers).
