If you’re looking to add a DC jack to your favourite garment for a wearable tech project, check out our collection of sewable connectors! This 5.5/2.1mm DC jack is mounted horizontally on a flexible, sewable base, with red and black wires extending from the bottom for easy power connections.
The jack is embedded in a soft rubber material that can be sewn by hand or machine, making it simple to integrate into fabric-based projects. Just stitch it into place and connect the power wires—red for positive (power) and black for negative (ground). For non-fabric applications, you can also secure it with glue, epoxy, or staples on a flat surface.
