ZIP LEDs Add-On Pack for Kitronik Inventors Kit for micro:bit
We have ✅ 4 available of the KI-5603-ZIP in our Sydney warehouse. An extra 100 units available with a short lead time.
An add-on pack for the Kitronik Inventor's Kit that introduces individually addressable RGB LEDs (ZIP LEDs) to your BBC micro:bit projects. Through ten guided experiments, you'll learn how to control LED colours, animate light sequences, and make LEDs respond to input from potentiometers and sensors.
ZIP LEDs are based on the WS2812B chip and are compatible with Adafruit NeoPixel libraries and other WS2812B driver code. Each LED can produce a full spectrum of colours independently, all connected via a simple three-wire bus. Code your experiments in MakeCode Blocks or MicroPython.
