The ShakeUp turns everyday objects into computer inputs. Plug it into your computer via USB and it appears as a standard keyboard and mouse — connect objects using alligator clips, and when the circuit closes, the ShakeUp sends a keystroke or mouse signal. If you can plug in a keyboard, you can use the ShakeUp.

Unlike similar boards, the ShakeUp also includes a built-in temperature sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. Detect tilts, knocks, bumps, and temperature changes — perfect for STEAM projects and physics experiments.

Key Features

  • Keyboard & Mouse Emulation – Appears as a standard HID device, no drivers needed
  • Alligator Clip Inputs – Connect everyday objects to trigger keystrokes and mouse signals
  • Built-In Accelerometer & Gyroscope – Detect tilting (forward, backward, left, right) and knocks/bumps
  • Temperature Sensor – Collect temperature data for science experiments
  • Made in Australia – Designed and manufactured by Little Bird in Sydney
  • Unique Board Designs – Available in various patterns including Space, Circuit Board, and Funky colours (design chosen at random)

Ideal For

  • STEAM education and interactive classroom projects
  • Making musical instruments from everyday objects
  • Physics experiments measuring motion and temperature
  • Accessible computing and adaptive input devices
Tip: Board design is chosen at random. If you have a preference, leave a comment at checkout and we'll do our best to accommodate.
