The BeagleBone Black Rev C (Element 14 edition) is a compact, open-source single-board computer powered by a 1 GHz AM3358 ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 RAM. It ships with Debian Linux pre-installed on 4 GB of onboard eMMC flash — no microSD card required to get started.

With micro HDMI output, USB host and client ports, 10/100 Ethernet, and two 46-pin expansion headers exposing a wealth of GPIO, PWM, I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces, the BeagleBone Black is a versatile platform for embedded projects, IoT gateways, and headless automation.

Key Features

  • AM3358 @ 1 GHz – ARM Cortex-A8 processor with NEON floating-point accelerator
  • 512 MB DDR3 RAM – Sufficient for Linux-based applications and scripting
