Adafruit STEMMA - TSL2561 Digital Lux / Light Sensor
The Adafruit STEMMA TSL2561 is a precision digital light sensor that measures 0.1–40,000+ lux using both infrared and full-spectrum diodes. This allows separate measurement of infrared, full-spectrum, or human-visible light — providing readings that more accurately reflect what human eyes perceive.
The sensor communicates over I2C with configurable gain and timing ranges for different lighting conditions. Three selectable I2C addresses let you run up to three sensors on a single bus. The STEMMA connector and alligator-clip pads provide two no-solder connection options, with built-in level shifting and protection circuitry for safe operation at 3V or 5V.
