XBee Pro 63mW Wire Antenna - Series 2B (ZigBee Mesh)

The XBee Pro Series 2B (XBP24-BZ7WIT-004) is a 63 mW ZigBee mesh networking module from Digi. It enables reliable serial communication between microcontrollers, computers, and other devices over distances up to 1 mile (1.6 km). The module supports point-to-point, multi-point, and complex mesh network topologies using the XBee ZB ZigBee firmware.
Series 2B modules communicate with Series 2 XBee modules but are not compatible with the older Series 2.5 modules. This version features a wire antenna and 128-bit encryption for secure wireless links.
Note: Series 2B requires configuration for mesh networking — it is not plug-and-play like Series 1. Series 1 and Series 2B have the same pin-out but cannot communicate with each other. Check local radio communication regulations if using outside the United States.
