The Vernier Gas Pressure Sensor is an easy-to-use tool for monitoring pressure changes in gaseous samples. With a range of 0 to 210 kPa (0 to 2.1 atm) and a maximum pressure rating of 4 atm, it's versatile enough for Boyle's law (pressure vs. volume) experiments and sensitive enough for vapour-pressure and pressure-temperature studies.

Driven by the Honeywell SSCMRNN030PAAA5 piezoresistive silicon pressure transducer, the sensor delivers high resolution and a fast 100 µs response time. It connects to Vernier interfaces and can also be used with Arduino via the Vernier Arduino library.

Key Features

  • Wide Pressure Range – 0 to 210 kPa (0 to 2.1 atm / 0 to 1600 mm Hg)
  • High Resolution – 0.06 kPa (0.0006 atm / 0.45 mm Hg)
  • Fast Response – 100 µs response time
  • Maximum Pressure – 4 atm
  • Arduino Compatible – Works with Vernier Arduino library and example code
