Ultrasonic Range Finder - HRLV-MaxSonar-EZ1
The HRLV-MaxSonar-EZ1 is a high-resolution ultrasonic rangefinder from MaxBotix with 1mm resolution. It measures distances up to 5,000mm (5 metres) with virtually no dead zone — objects closer than 300mm will typically read as 300mm. Three output formats (analog voltage, RS232 serial, and pulse width) make it easy to interface with any microcontroller.
The EZ1 offers a medium beam width, sitting between the wider EZ0 and narrower EZ4 models in the HRLV-MaxSonar range. Up to 10 sensors can be daisy-chained and controlled with just two pins.
