The BC337 is an NPN silicon bipolar junction transistor (BJT) suitable for switching and amplification in general-purpose circuits. With a collector current rating of 800 mA and a collector-emitter voltage of 50V, it can drive relays, LEDs, small motors, and other moderate loads directly from a microcontroller output.
