SparkFun UV Sensor Breakout - ML8511
The SparkFun ML8511 UV Sensor Breakout makes it easy to measure ultraviolet light intensity. The sensor outputs an analog voltage linearly related to UV intensity (mW/cm²), so any microcontroller with an ADC can read it directly.
Detecting wavelengths from 280 to 390 nm, the ML8511 covers most of the UVB (burning rays) and UVA (tanning rays) spectrum. This makes it ideal for building devices that warn users about sunburn risk or measure the UV index for weather monitoring.
