SparkFun THAT 1646 OutSmarts Breakout
The SparkFun THAT 1646 OutSmarts Breakout provides an easy way to add a balanced audio output to your circuits. It combines the THAT 1646 IC, its supporting components, and a ¼″ TRS (Tip Ring Sleeve) socket on a single breadboard-friendly board.
The THAT 1646 is a high-grade analogue line driver that converts an unbalanced input signal to a balanced output with low distortion and high common-mode rejection. All necessary pins are broken out including unbalanced input (IN), power rails (V+, V−), and ground (GND), plus test points for signal and normal contacts on each leg of the TRS socket.
