SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Arduino Nano
Discontinued
The SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Arduino Nano adds four Qwiic connectors to your Nano board, providing quick access to the Qwiic ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, and peripherals. Two connectors are mounted horizontally and two vertically, with daisy-chaining support for multiple devices on different addresses.
The shield includes a configurable logic-shifting circuit with a solder jumper that defaults to 3.3 V but can be switched to 5 V to match your Nano's operating voltage.
Key Features
- 4 Qwiic Connectors – Two horizontal and two vertical 4-pin JST connectors for I2C devices
- Configurable Logic Shifting – Solder jumper selects between 3.3 V and 5 V IOREF voltage
- Daisy-Chain Support – Connect multiple Qwiic devices on different I2C addresses
- Arduino Nano Form Factor – Designed to match the Nano's pin layout
Ideal For
- Adding Qwiic I2C sensors and peripherals to Arduino Nano projects
- Rapid prototyping with plug-and-play Qwiic devices
- Compact sensor networks and data acquisition
Note: Headers must be soldered to the shield and, if not already fitted, to your Arduino Nano. Match the markings on the shield to the correct pins on your Nano to avoid damage.
