SparkFun MicroMod Ethernet Function Board - W5500

The SparkFun MicroMod Ethernet Function Board adds wired Ethernet connectivity and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to any MicroMod assembly. Built around the WIZnet W5500 hardwired TCP/IP controller and an Ag9900M PoE DC/DC converter, it lets you connect and power a MicroMod project from a single Ethernet cable.

The W5500 communicates over SPI at up to 80 MHz and supports eight simultaneous independent sockets with TCP, UDP, IPv4, ICMP, ARP, IGMP, and PPPoE protocols. The on-board PoE converter accepts 36–57 V input and delivers 9 W at 5 V, configured for IEEE 802.3af Alternate B (power on spare pairs 4,5 and 7,8).
