The SIM900 GSM/GPRS module operates at 3.3V logic level, making it directly compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers such as the Arduino Due. It features a quad-band GSM/GPRS engine supporting GSM 850, EGSM 900, DCS 1800, and PCS 1900 bands with automatic frequency selection. Controlled via AT commands over a serial interface.
