A flexible, neon-like RGBW LED strip encased in translucent silicone rubber for a smooth, diffused glow. This 1-metre strip produces a neon-style effect without the need for glass tubing or high-voltage transformers — just connect 9–12V DC and it lights up beautifully.

The strip features four colour channels — Red, Green, Blue, and Cool White (5500K) — that you can mix to create any colour. The silicone casing is flexible, durable, and weather-resistant, making it suitable for costumes, bike lighting, festival decorations, and outdoor projects.

Key Features

  • RGBW Colour Mixing – Red, Green, Blue, and Cool White (5500K) channels
  • Neon-Like Diffusion – Solid silicone rubber diffuser for smooth, even light
  • Flexible & Bendable – Shape around curves and corners
  • Weather-Resistant Silicone – Durable enough for outdoor use
  • 9–12V DC Operation – 9V for bright, 12V for very bright output
  • 1 Metre Length – With 5 wires for easy connection

Wiring

  • Black – +12V DC power
  • Red – Red channel (connect to GND to activate)
  • Green – Green channel (connect to GND to activate)
  • Blue – Blue channel (connect to GND to activate)
  • Yellow/White – White channel (connect to GND to activate)

Ideal For

  • Costumes and wearable lighting
  • Bike and vehicle accent lighting
  • Festival and event decorations
  • Signage and display lighting
Note: This is a non-addressable (analog) LED strip — you can set the entire strip to any colour, but you cannot control individual LEDs. You'll need a microcontroller with 4 PWM outputs and 4 N-MOSFETs (or a ULN2803) to control each colour channel.

Package Contents

  • 1× RGBW Neon-like LED Flex Strip (1 metre, 5-wire)

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
microcontroller
A microcontroller is a small computer on a chip that runs your program and controls connected inputs and outputs. For this product, it is the part that reads buttons and sensors, drives the display and speaker, and communicates over Bluetooth.
PWM
Pulse Width Modulation is a way for a digital pin to simulate variable output power by switching on and off very quickly. It matters for controlling things like LED brightness, motor speed, or servo-style signals from a microcontroller pin.
