A simple piezo element that can be used as both a sensor and a small audio transducer. When flexed or tapped, it generates a voltage that can be read by a microcontroller, making it ideal for knock and vibration detection projects.
Connect the output to an analog input on your Arduino or other microcontroller to detect taps, knocks, and vibrations. It can also be driven as a basic buzzer for simple audio feedback.
Key Features
- Dual Purpose – Works as both a vibration/knock sensor and a small buzzer
- Easy to Use – Simple two-wire connection to any microcontroller analog input
- Compact Size – Lightweight disc form factor
Ideal For
- Knock and tap detection sensors
- Vibration monitoring
- Simple buzzer or audio feedback
- Arduino beginner projects
Package Contents
- 1× Piezo Element
Jargon buster
