The Elecfreaks Smart Coding Kit lets you build a programmable DIY smartwatch powered by the BBC micro:bit. Using the included Power:bit extension board and nylon watch strap, you can assemble a wearable device that runs your own code — created in MakeCode or Scratch.

The Power:bit board runs on two CR2025 coin cell batteries and includes a built-in buzzer controlled via the P0 port, so you can add audio feedback to your wearable projects.

Key Features

  • DIY Smartwatch – Build a programmable wearable from scratch
  • Power:bit Extension Board – Compact board with coin cell battery holder
  • Built-In Buzzer – Controllable via P0 for audio output
  • MakeCode & Scratch – Program with beginner-friendly block-based platforms
  • Simple Assembly – Screw the micro:bit onto the board and strap it on
Note: This kit does not include a micro:bit board. A micro:bit is required and sold separately.

Ideal For

  • Beginner coding and electronics education
  • Wearable technology projects
  • Classroom STEM activities
  • Kids learning to program with micro:bit
