Johnny 5 Robot Kit

The Lynxmotion Johnny 5 Robot Kit is a fully functional model of the iconic robot from the film Short Circuit. Built from aluminium Servo Erector Set brackets, injection-moulded components, and laser-cut Lexan structural parts, the robot is designed for both indoor and outdoor use across a range of surfaces.

The fully articulated torso uses 14 servos (8× HS-645MG, 3× HS-475HB/HS-485HB, 3× HS-422) controlled by an SSC-32 servo controller. The tracked base is driven by two 12 V DC 50:1 gearhead motors via a Sabertooth 2×5 motor controller, providing excellent traction on polypropylene and rubber tracks with ABS sprockets.
