Intel® Edison R2 Kit w/ Arduino Breakout Board
Discontinued
The Intel Edison R2 Kit for Arduino is a compact computing platform designed for Internet of Things projects. It pairs the Edison module — featuring a dual-core Intel Atom CPU at 500 MHz and a 32-bit Intel Quark microcontroller at 100 MHz — with an Arduino-compatible breakout board for easy prototyping.
The breakout board is mostly compatible with the Arduino Uno layout (4 PWM instead of 6), so you can connect existing Arduino shields. It supports Arduino Sketch, Linux, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth development environments.
