Hexapod Robot Kit
An 18 degree-of-freedom hexapod robot kit built around the Arduino Mega 2560. Each of its six legs is powered by three CDS5516 high-performance servos with 300° rotation range and over 14 kgf·cm of holding torque — enough for the hexapod to balance on just two feet.
The CDS5516 servos provide feedback on their current angle, torque, and temperature via serial interface, giving precise control and real-time diagnostics for each joint. The included Mega IO Expansion Shield provides convenient access to the Mega's 54 I/O pins and multiple serial ports for adding sensors and wireless modules.
