A compact digital infrared distance sensor from DFRobot's Gravity range, designed for edge detection and close-range proximity sensing. It detects objects within 1–10 cm and outputs a simple digital HIGH/LOW signal — perfect for preventing robots from falling off tables or down stairs.
Connects directly to an Arduino digital pin using the included Gravity sensor cable. The low power consumption (under 10 mA) and lightweight design (under 5 g) make it ideal for mobile robotics platforms.
