Gravity: BMX160+BMP388 10 DOF Sensor

Discontinued

A 10-DOF (degrees of freedom) sensor module combining the Bosch BMX160 9-axis sensor with a BMP388 barometric pressure sensor on a single DFRobot Gravity-compatible board. Measures acceleration, angular velocity, geomagnetic orientation, barometric pressure, and temperature — ideal for drones, robotics, and wearable devices.

The BMX160 is the smallest 9-axis sensor in its class, drawing less than 1.5 mA. The BMP388 delivers high-resolution altitude data for precise flight stabilisation and landing accuracy.

Key Features

  • 10 Degrees of Freedom – Accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, and temperature
  • Low Power – Less than 1.5 mA for the BMX160
  • High Accuracy Barometer – ±0.08 hPa relative accuracy (±0.66 m altitude)
  • Compact Size – 27 × 32 mm
  • Gravity Interface – Plug-and-play I2C connection

Specifications

  • Accelerometer Range – ±2g / ±4g / ±8g / ±16g
  • Gyroscope Range – ±125°/s to ±2000°/s
  • Geomagnetic Range – ±1150 µT (X/Y axis), ±2500 µT (Z axis)
  • Magnetic Resolution – 0.3 µT
  • Pressure Range – 300–1250 hPa
  • Pressure Relative Accuracy – ±0.08 hPa (700–900 hPa, 25–40°C)
  • Pressure Absolute Accuracy – ±0.5 hPa (0–65°C, 300–1100 hPa)
  • Temperature Accuracy – ±0.5°C (0–65°C)
  • Operating Temperature – −40°C to +80°C
  • Dimensions – 27 × 32 mm

Ideal For

  • Drone altitude stabilisation and navigation
