This pack of female headers includes two 6-pin headers and two 8-pin headers. This is similar to the header kit that comes with Arduino shields except that the pins are shorter so they don’t stack. These are useful for Arduino compatible boards that don’t come with headers already installed (like the Arduino Pro).

- Headers
- Rows of connector contacts on a fixed pitch (commonly 2.54 mm) used to link a board to a breadboard, jumper wires, or another board. They come as male pin headers and female socket headers; when a module ships with pre-soldered headers it can be used straight away, whereas bare pads require soldering the pins yourself.
