These female-to-female jumper wires bridge the gap between standard 2.54 mm (0.1″) pitch headers and smaller 2.0 mm (0.08″) pitch connectors. One end has a 2.54 mm socket and the other has a 2.0 mm socket, making it easy to connect 2.0 mm-pitch devices like XBee modules to breadboards and standard headers.

The 40-wire ribbon strip is approximately 200 mm (8″) long. Individual wires can be peeled apart for single connections, or kept together for neat, organised harnesses.

Key Features

  • Mixed Pitch – 2.54 mm socket on one end, 2.0 mm socket on the other
  • 40 Wires – Supplied as a peelable ribbon strip
  • ~200 mm Length – Approximately 8 inches (may vary slightly)
  • Female-to-Female – Pairs of 2.54 mm sockets to a single 2×2.0 mm socket per wire

Ideal For

  • Connecting 2.0 mm pitch devices (e.g. XBee) to breadboards
  • Making wire harnesses between mixed-pitch components
  • Prototyping with non-standard header spacing

Package Contents

  • 1× Ribbon strip of 40 female-female jumper wires (2.54 mm to 2.0 mm)
Tip: When plugging wires in a row, orient the side with the silver latch facing outward, as it is slightly wider than the nominal pitch.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

Headers
Rows of connector contacts on a fixed pitch (commonly 2.54 mm) used to link a board to a breadboard, jumper wires, or another board. They come as male pin headers and female socket headers; when a module ships with pre-soldered headers it can be used straight away, whereas bare pads require soldering the pins yourself.
