The BooSTick from Rover Development is a compact AA-battery-powered boost regulator that provides a regulated 5V or 3.3V output for breadboard and microcontroller projects. About the size of a single AA battery, it plugs directly into a breadboard or compatible Arduino board for portable, wire-free power.

A single AA cell is boosted to a regulated output at up to 200mA, sufficient for most microcontroller and sensor projects. The output voltage can be adjusted by tuning the feedback resistors. Comes fully assembled — just insert a battery and go.

Key Features

  • Single AA Powered – Portable power from one AA battery (standard or NiMH rechargeable)
  • 5V or 3.3V Output – Selectable regulated voltage (adjustable via feedback resistors)
  • 200mA Output – Enough for microcontrollers, sensors, and small analog circuits
  • Breadboard-Friendly – Plugs directly into standard breadboards
  • Ultra-Compact – About the size of a single AA battery
  • Fully Assembled – Ready to use out of the box
