The Adafruit SMT Breakout PCB for 32-pin QFN or TQFP packages lets you easily prototype with surface-mount chips on standard solderless breadboards. One side accommodates a 32-pin QFP footprint while the other supports 32-pin QFN, with traces routed to two rows of 0.1"-spaced through-holes.

Key Features

  • Dual Footprint – Supports 7 mm square QFP on one side and 5 mm square QFN on the other
  • 32-Pin Layout – Traces from each pad routed to breadboard-friendly 0.1" pitch holes
  • 0.6" Row Spacing – Fits standard solderless breadboards with a centre channel
  • Standard Thickness PCB – Durable construction for repeated use

Package Contents

  • 3× SMT breakout PCBs (each supports QFP or QFN)

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

breakout
A breakout is a small circuit board that makes a tiny or hard-to-solder component easier to connect to with standard pins. It matters because this OLED module can be wired into a microcontroller project without needing to solder directly to the display’s fine contacts.
PCB
A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
