The Adafruit HDC1008 is an I²C digital temperature and humidity sensor breakout board, offering accurate environmental readings in a compact, easy-to-use package. With typical humidity accuracy of ±4% (optimised for 10–80% RH) and temperature accuracy of ±0.2°C across -20 to 85°C, it's a reliable choice for climate monitoring projects.

The sensor supports 3–5V power and logic levels with no external level shifters or regulators needed. Two address-select pins allow up to four HDC1008 sensors on a single I²C bus, making it easy to monitor multiple locations simultaneously.

Important: The HDC1008 humidity sensor requires rehydration after shipping. Place it in a location with 85% humidity for 24 hours, or 60% humidity for 10 days, before expecting full accuracy.
Note: Light soldering is required to attach the included header strip.
