Adafruit CC3000 WiFi Shield with uFL Connector for Ext Antenna
The Adafruit CC3000 WiFi Shield adds 802.11b/g wireless connectivity to your Arduino over SPI. This version features a uFL connector for an external 2.4 GHz antenna, providing better range than an onboard antenna and easier enclosure mounting.
The CC3000 uses SPI for communication with proper interrupt support via an IRQ pin for asynchronous connections. It includes a built-in TCP/IP stack with a BSD socket interface, supporting TCP and UDP in both client and server mode with up to 4 concurrent sockets. The shield form factor plugs directly into your Arduino.
