Adafruit 10-DOF IMU Breakout - L3GD20H + LSM303 + BMP180

Discontinued

The Adafruit 10-DOF IMU Breakout combines three high-quality sensors on a single board to deliver 11 axes of motion and environmental data: 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis magnetometer (compass), plus barometric pressure and temperature readings.

All three sensors communicate over I2C, requiring just two wires to access the full set of data. An onboard 3V regulator with reverse-polarity protection and level-shifting circuitry means the board works safely with both 3.3V and 5V logic. Data-ready and interrupt pins are also broken out for advanced interfacing.

Key Features

  • L3GD20H Gyroscope – 3-axis with ±250, ±500, or ±2000 °/s selectable scale
  • LSM303 Accelerometer – 3-axis with ±2g/±4g/±8g/±16g selectable scale
  • LSM303 Magnetometer – 3-axis compass with ±1.3 to ±8.1 gauss range
  • BMP180 Barometric Sensor – Pressure (300–1100 hPa), temperature (-40 to 85°C), altitude (0.17m resolution)
  • I2C Interface – All sensors accessible over just 2 wires
  • 3/5V Compatible – Onboard regulator with reverse-polarity protection and level shifting
  • Interrupt Pins – Data-ready and interrupt pins broken out for advanced use
  • Mounting Holes – Secure attachment for robots, rockets, and vehicles
