A compact DC-powered vacuum pump ideal for beginners building inflatable or pneumatic projects. With a power consumption of just 2.5W at 5V, it can share the same power supply as DC motors or servo systems in your project.
When powered on, the pump draws air from the side port and expels it from the centre port. Reversing the motor polarity reverses the airflow direction. For simultaneous inflation and deflation, two pumps are required.
Key Features
- Low Power – Only 2.5W at 5V, easy to integrate into existing systems
- Reversible Airflow – Reverse the motor polarity to change the direction of airflow
- Compact Size – Small form factor suitable for embedded applications
- Quiet Operation – Less than 60 dB noise level
Specifications
- Operating Voltage – 1.5–5V DC
- No-Load Current – ≤500 mA (at 5V)
- No-Load Flow Rate – ≥2.2 L/min (at 5V)
- Maximum Vacuum – ≥ −58 kPa
- Noise – <60 dB
Ideal For
- Pneumatic and inflatable projects
- Vacuum packaging and suction applications
- Robotics and automation prototyping
Package Contents
- 1× 370 Mini Vacuum Pump
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- servo
- A servo is a motor with built-in position control, usually told to move to a specific angle by a control signal. It matters when you need repeatable movement, such as steering, arms, flaps, or linkages, rather than continuous spinning.
