303 Breakout Board - Tilt Compensated Compass
We have ✅ 1 available of the DF-SEN0079 in our Sydney warehouse. An extra 5 units available with a short lead time.
A breakout board based on the LSM303DLH, combining a triple-axis accelerometer with a triple-axis magnetic sensor on a single chip. Feed the raw data into a microcontroller to calculate tilt-compensated compass headings, orientation detection, and motion-triggered functions.
Communicates via I2C with 16-bit data output and supports dynamically selectable full-scale ranges for both the accelerometer and magnetometer. Two independent programmable interrupt generators enable free-fall and motion detection without continuous polling.
Key Features
- LSM303DLH Sensor – Combined 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis magnetometer
- Tilt-Compensated Compass – Accurate heading regardless of board orientation
- I2C Interface – 16-bit data output for both sensors
- Programmable Interrupts – Two independent generators for free-fall and motion detection
- Sleep-to-Wakeup – Accelerometer power-saving function for handheld devices
