The 2-Channel Level Converter translates 12V signals down to 5V using optocoupler isolation, making it easy to interface industrial sensors and PLC signals with 5V microcontrollers like Arduino. It supports common anode, common cathode, and differential signal inputs with PNP output (NPN to PNP conversion available).
The module includes SMD LED indicators for each channel and comes in a DIN rail-compatible enclosure for clean installation in industrial and prototyping environments.
Key Features
- 2-Channel Optocoupler Isolation – Electrically isolated signal conversion
- 12V to 5V Level Shifting – Safely interface industrial signals with 5V MCUs
- PNP Output – NPN to PNP signal conversion available
- Multiple Input Modes – Common anode, common cathode, and differential signal inputs
- DIN Rail Compatible – Enclosure fits standard DIN rails
- LED Indicators – SMD LEDs show signal status per channel

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- differential signal
- A measurement taken between two input wires rather than between one wire and ground. This matters for precision sensors because it can reduce noise and lets the ADC read very small voltage differences more accurately.
- DIN
- DIN means data in, the pin where this display receives data from the controller. Connecting DIN to the correct SPI data output pin is needed for the screen to receive pixel and command information.
- DIN rail
- DIN rail is a standard metal mounting rail used inside industrial electrical cabinets. DIN rail mounting matters because it lets the controller be installed neatly alongside power supplies, relays, and other automation hardware.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
