Adafruit Pi Unassembled T-Cobbler Breakout Kit for Raspberry Pi

The Adafruit Pi T-Cobbler Breakout Kit breaks out all 26 GPIO pins from the original Raspberry Pi onto a solderless breadboard in a wide T-shaped layout. The T-shape makes pin labels easier to read compared to the more compact Cobbler design. Connect the included ribbon cable between your Pi and the T-Cobbler PCB, plug it into a breadboard, and start prototyping.

Compatible with Raspberry Pi Model A and Model B (rev 1 and rev 2). For rev 2 boards, GPIO #21 is replaced with GPIO #27 and I2C uses port #1 instead of #0.

Important: This is the 26-pin version for the original Raspberry Pi Model A and B only. It is not compatible with the Pi B+, Pi 2, 3, 4, 5, or Zero. For modern Pi models with 2×20 headers, use the Pi T-Cobbler Plus Kit instead.

Key Features

  • 26-Pin GPIO Breakout – All power, GPIO, I2C, and SPI pins broken out
  • T-Shaped Layout – Wider format with easier-to-read pin labels
  • Clearly Labelled PCB – No pinout printout needed
  • Breadboard Compatible – Plugs directly into standard solderless breadboards
  • 26-Pin Ribbon Cable Included – Connects Pi to T-Cobbler
Note: This is a kit that requires soldering — you'll need to solder the ribbon cable socket and header pins to the T-Cobbler PCB. Assembly takes approximately 15 minutes.
