Ultrasonic Range Finder - XL-MaxSonar-EZ4
The XL-MaxSonar-EZ4 is a high-performance ultrasonic range finder from MaxBotix, offering accurate distance measurements from 0 to 765 cm (25.1 ft) with 1 cm resolution. It provides range data simultaneously through three output methods — analogue, serial (RS-232), and PWM — making it easy to integrate with virtually any microcontroller.
The EZ4 variant features the narrowest beam angle in the XL series, ideal for applications that require precise, focused detection. The sensor operates on 3.3V to 5V with very low average current draw and includes real-time auto-calibration and noise rejection on every ranging cycle.
